Angel´s Share

This bar in East Village, New York, is one of the best speak easys in town. After climbing some stairs to the 2nd floor of a japanese restaurant, you have to open a hidden door, and there you are:

You feel like back in the golden 20th, but the crowd is young, and the advantage is in contrast to the past , that you can have fresh sushi to your drink, due to the restaurant beside. There are two rooms, one in the back, more relaxed with sofas, and the main room, with the bar and a good view to the streets of East Village.

This place is cosy and trendy at the same time, and the cocktails are creative and delicious. I hate Bourbon, but I tasted a drink with Bourbon and strawberries, which was phantastic. Another drink was infused by earl grey tea, very healthy, and still great.
